Introduction:
We are seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer who will meticulously care for our clients and their equipment. You will typically be on-site installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery and parts in the GTA.
Reporting to the V.P. of Service and Engineering, you will be responsible for working with clients, internal departments, and management surrounding all mechanical aspects of the on-site machinery.
Key points/Highlights:
Technical Education: Apprenticeship, Technical College or University Degree.
Strong previous trouble shooting experience is desirable.
Familiarity with Fanuc, Yasnac (if possible), Heidenhain and Siemens controls desirable.
Knowledge of high speed machining processes.
Knowledge of machines adjustments (geometry, level, etc..)
Knowledge of machines accuracy tests procedure.
Familiarity with ladder reading for troubleshooting purposes.
Working knowledge of “G” Code programming desirable.
Strong customer service orientation.
